Knicks sweep season series from Bucks

OG Anunoby scored 31 points and Mikal Bridges added 26 to lead the New York Knicks to a road victory over the Milwaukee Bucks 116-107 on Friday night.

New York, which has won three of its last four, got 14 points and 10 boards from Karl Anthony-Towns. Josh Hart added 13 points with 14 rebounds and eight assists.

Milwaukee has lost three straight and four of its last six. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 30 points while Kyle Kuzma and Ryan Rollins each added 20. The Bucks were without Damian Lillard, who is out indefinitely due to a blood clot in his calf.

New York started off hot, going on a 9-0 run and ending the opening quarter up 25-19. Wright, who began the season with Milwaukee, started and scored 10 in the first quarter.

The Knicks gained slightly more separation in the second despite stronger shooting from Milwaukee, which shot 70.6 percent from the field in the second quarter. New York led 60-49 going into the break.

The Bucks shot 57.6 percent from the floor in the first half, led by 13 points from Antetokounmpo, 12 from Rollins and 11 from Kouzma. Bridges led New York, which grabbed seven offensive boards and forced 10 turnovers, with 19 points. Wright added 12.

The third quarter was one of spurts. The Bucks went on an 11-4 stretch to bring their deficit down to four, which would later be cut to two.

New York responded with a 12-6 run. Going into the fourth, New York led 81-73 despite going 0-for-8 from deep in the third.

The Knicks got on a roll to start the fourth and never looked back. An 18-7 start to the quarter gave them a 99-80 lead with 8:27 left.

New York has won five in a row over Milwaukee and swept the regular season series for the first time in 12 seasons. Nine points was the closest margin of the three games this season.
