BallCorps, LLC, owner of the Mobile BayBears, have received official approval from Minor League Baseball to relocate the team to Madison, Alabama. The team will play in a new multi-use venue being constructed by the city of Madison at the 500-acre Town Madison development.

BallCorps has previously received permission from the Southern League to move in a unamimous vote by the league’s Board of Directors.

BallCorps will host a community event for the venue’s groundbreaking  at the stadium site off Zierdt Road and Interstate 565 in Madison on Saturday June 9 starting at 5p.
