After the Player’s Championship this weekend, Dustin Johnson is no longer atop the World Golf Rankings. Justin Thomas. who finished one stroke ahead of Johnson, is now the number one golfer according to the rankings. It’s the first time in 64 weeks there is a new leader.

Thomas, a member of the University of Alabama 2013 national champion team and 2012 National Player of the Year, is number one for the first time in his career. He finished 2016 at No. 22 and last season No. 3 behind Johnson & Jordan Spieth. Thomas becomes the fourth youngest player to be No. 1.
